Information About Study Abroad Programs To get brochures on our study abroad programs during Winter Break 2009-10, Spring Break 2010 and Summer 2010, stop by the ACE Office (Room 5, Student Center) or go on-line at www.morris.umn.edu/studyabroad. Application Forms Program application forms for all study abroad programs are on-line and in the ACE Office, lower level of the Student Center. Study Abroad Scholarship All students are eligible to apply for $750 scholarships for our UMM short-term study abroad programs, exchanges and ELTAP/GST. Applications are available in the ACE Office. Early Program Application Deadline and Discount Get a $100 discount if you apply to our UMM short-term study abroad programs by the early application deadline of December 11, 2009. Financial Aid Financial aid is available to UMM study abroad programs for winter or spring break (credits usually are included in the spring semester registration) and for summer (May or summer session). Aid includes PELL (now available in the Summer Term), loans (both federal and alternative/private) and grants. Note: not all of these financial aid options are available to all students—the particular combination of aid is based on each student’s financial need. Students may make an appointment in the Financial Aid Office (with Marie or Andy) to discuss financial aid needs and options for UMM short-term study abroad programs.
