Honors Application Deadline

Location: Room 10A, Student Center
Requirements to be submitted with the application are as follows:
Attachment #1: Please print and attach an unofficial UMM transcript. If you are not sure how to do so, follow the link from the Student One-Stop page or contact the UMM Registrar’s office.
Attachment #2: In an essay of 500-1000 words, answer either (a) or (b):
a) Imagine you could bring up to three historical figures back from the past to address an important question facing the world today that you yourself are passionate about. Who would you bring, and what problem would you strive to address together? What does each of the historical figures bring to the conversation? These historical figures may have little in common: they can be from different time periods and cultures.
b) Choose a mix of 3-5 experiences, films, books, video games, musical compositions, computer programs, works of art (etc.) and develop an essay to describe how these have contributed significantly to your intellectual development.
Return your application to Sharon Van Eps (10A Student Center) on or before Friday, March 1st. You will receive notification of your honors status by Monday, March 25th, in time for annual planning.
