campus produces multiple productions each year through its Theatre Arts Discipline and student
clubs such as the Meiningens.

Wednesday, Dec 31, 6:00 p.m. From heated debate on political issues, to humorous squabbling between spouses, to a king's quarrel with magic, the Theatre Discipline will present audiences the opportunity to watch characters act under the pressure of various struggles. Wednesday, Dec 31, 6:00 p.m. Erin Denman '09 and Victoria Pyan '07 give the scripts of up-and-coming playwrights a chance in the spotlight. Saturday, Sep 22, 7:00 p.m. The University of Minnesota, Morris Theatre Arts Discipline will present a tenth-anniversary staged reading of The Laramie Project on Saturday, September 22, at 7 p.m. in Humanities Fine Arts. Thursday, Nov 1, 7:30 p.m. The University of Minnesota, Morris Theatre Discipline opens its 2012-13 season with The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later. Tuesday, Dec 4, 7:30 p.m. Ray Schultz will present an additional performance of Blanche and Beyond: The Letters of Tennessee Williams on Tuesday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Humanities Fine Arts Black Box Theatre. Thursday, Feb 7, 7:30 p.m. The Theatre Discipline will present God of Carnage February 7-9 in the Humanities Fine Arts Raymond J. Lammers Proscenium Theatre. Wednesday, Feb 20, 7:30 p.m. Morris will welcome veteran actor Pat O'Brien in Underneath the Lintel on Wednesday, February 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Raymond J. Lammers Proscenium Theatre. Wednesday, Apr 10, 12:00 a.m. The Theatre Discipline will close its 2012-13 season with the vibrant and enchanting children's show The King Stag.
