There's lots going on 'down under," where expansive landscapes, indigenous populations, and thriving immigration present unique educational challenges. Teach or conduct research in Australia or New Zealand to get extensive hands-on experience with rural education, an intensive literacy development initiative, and a population that grows more diverse by the day.

GST Countries: Australia and New Zealand. Minimum 8-week assignment.

The success of a Global Student Teaching placement, like any supervised teaching experience, depends upon close cooperation among host institution teachers and administrators, university personnel, and each student teacher. These cooperative relationships are fostered through the contacts that student teachers, supervising personnel, and administrators have with one another. Our goal is to assure a successful experience for all participants.
