Background checks for GST and ELTAP participantsA criminal background check is required for admission to the Global Student Teaching and English Language Teaching Assistant programs at the University of Minnesota, Morris.To obtain a full (public and private) criminal history record, please request one via U.S. Mail. Your request must include a notarized informed consent signed by the subject of the record including the complete, correct spelling of the first and last names, middle name, other names used and date of birth. Enclose a personal check, money order, cashier's check, certified or business check, for $15.00 made payable to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Response time for mail requests is approximately two weeks. The mailing address is: Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Criminal Justice Information Systems - CHA 1430 Maryland Ave. E.
