Unit Assessment System

The unit assessment system is an integrated and coherent system that is aligned with the conceptual framework and the licensure standards of the state of Minnesota. Programs within the unit have transition points that provide a systematic framework for assessment. The elementary and secondary education programs follow the same pattern of development and include many of the same key assessments. The differences between the two programs are due largely to the difference in program length. The general plan is outlined below. A full description of the Assessment System is available under Standard Two.
