2005 URS presenter The opportunity to expand the body of knowledge in a field by participating in scholarly research or creative activity is a hallmark of superior undergraduate institutions.

UMM provides numerous opportunities for students to make such contributions on campus, within the larger university, and beyond our borders.

Faculty from all disciplines are pleased to discuss research and creative opportunities with students, as are students' advisers.

Scholarships and funding
Scholarships, awards and financial assistance for UMM students participating in research or creative activity include the Morris Academic Partnership stipend (MAP), the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), the Bos Research Fund, the Tate Memorial Fund, and more.
