Minnesota Academy of Sciences Annual Meeting
The Minnesota Academy of Sciences hosts an annual meeting where undergraduate students can present their research to a broad audience. The gathering also allows Minnesotans involved in science to meet their colleagues from academia, industry, and government and to hear or present the results of research with a regional emphasis. The April meeting rotates locations throughout the state.

American College Theater Festival
UMM students frequently participate in the American College Theatre Festival, a national theater program involving thousands of students from colleges and universities nationwide. The festival celebrates outstanding work produced in college theatre programs, provides opportunities to develop skills, and recognizes new and experimental works, especially those by students. To inquire about UMM's participation in this year's festival contact the Office of the Humanities Division (320-589-6251) and ask to speak with the current Theatre Discipline coordinator.
