The best teachers at the U!

The University of Minnesota rewards superior contributions to undergraduate education with its prestigious Horace T. Morse Award. A remarkably high percentage of these awards go to UMM faculty, like Professor Jeff Ratliff-Crain of the psychology discipline, pictured here. Since faculty, not TAs, teach all levels of courses at UMM, odds are you'll study with quite a few Horace T. Morse winners during your undergraduate career at UMM. Maybe that's why Morris graduates report the highest levels of student satisfaction at the University, praising faculty accessibility, excellent teaching, and sharply increased problem-solving skills.

UMM also boasts the highest percentage of University students graduating in four years or less. Read more about UMM's academic strengths in the "Academics" tour below.
