Our mission is to promote and support student learning by providing opportunities for personal and academic growth through quality activities and resources for both students and advisers.

Our goals as advisers:

1. Assist students in understanding the scope of their liberal arts education and reach the curricular goals of their academic programs
2. Empower students to make well-intentioned and strategic decisions about their education
3. Recognize and appreciate the individual differences and needs of students
4. Promote skills for personal development and sustained learning

All students are assigned to a faculty adviser in their area of study. Students are encouraged to change advisers if they decide to pursue a different major. The Advising Office supports the work of the faculty advisers and related programs by providing materials and serves as a center for academic-related questions.
