Timelines for beginning each majorThe UMM faculty have made recommendations on when a major must be begun in order for a student to graduate in four years. Early selection of a major enhances students' ability to complete their plan in four years. The UMM faculty recommend that students on the four year plan begin taking courses in their major no later than the times indicated below.
