Requirements for the bachelor of arts (B.A.) degree from UMM consist of two parts: general education and the major. Students complete their degree by fulfilling the requirements as specified in the UMM Catalog.
Instead of a major, some students may choose to complete an area of concentration, which is an individualized, often interdisciplinary, group of courses that meets the requirement of study in depth of a specific field of knowledge.
Annual Planning
This is UMM's spring advising event. It is your chance to create a long range plan for your academic program. You will meet with your adviser to discuss goals, choose classes and explore options that will help you meet your goals. Students who have completed fewer than 60 credits are required to meet with their advisers to develop a plan before registering for Fall classes. |
