Hello, my name is Karina Sanchez and I am a third year student at UC Davis. I was browsing through the Internet to find information on the School of the Americas and the massacre at El Mozote. I typed in the words Atlacatl Batallion and the search lead me to what I believe are notes for your class. I was very excited to read all the detailed information that you have regarding the history of El Salvador. It was actually very touching to know that someone is informing others about this event that occurred many years ago. I would like to thank you for teaching people about the history of my country. The massacre at El Mozote and the civil war in El Salvador are subjects that are very emotional to me since they are the reason why I had to immigrate to the U.S 13 years ago and leave my beautiful country behind. Thank you so much once again for informing others about the history of such a small and remote place.
