Desccription (IS)
- Current Research Interests: Circadian
Rhythms in the mold Neurospora (time lapse visualization of
bioluminescence, conidiation, temperature, light and pressure effects
on phase.). Daily
cycles in the bioluminescent marine alga Pyrocystis lunula (oxygen and
carbon dioxide oscillations in a closed system in a light dark cycle).
Limit cycle modeling for circadian rhytms.
Other scientific interests: Bioluminescence, Gonyaulax, plant
leaf and flower movements, time lapse, human reproductive technology,
winter physiology of plants and animals, computer modeling, plant
physiology.
