We also strongly encourage students to attend the ACM Club's Internship Event, usually scheduled for at least once a semester. The event typically gives students an idea of how to look for and apply to internships, how to prepare themselves for an interview, some basic does and don'ts as well as what to expect when they get the job. Food is often provided and there are usually stories from students about their internships or from alumni about their work or graduate school experiences.
