Ferolyn Angell received her BA in Drama/Dance from the University of California, Berkeley where she studied Graham technique under David and Marni Wood. She received her MA in dance/choreography from UCLA after spending two years studying and performing in NYC. She has had the opportunity to study with many Dance masters in Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Modern dance during her time in the SF Bay area and NYC. She has over 35 years of experience teaching Jazz, Modern, Tap, Dance History and Composition. She has received support for her choreography from the Lake Region Arts Council of Minnesota. She founded the UMM Dance Ensemble in 1986 and has been instrumental in developing the Dance Program at UMM.
