Annual Dance Program Recital

Once each year the UMM Dance Program faculty organizes a professional performance of works selected from composition students, faculty and guest choreographers. This annual event allows dance students to experience dance as a form of expression that goes beyond entertainment. Dancers become part of the creative process, paricipate in a rigorous rehearsal schedule and are challenged to do their best work. Auditions are held during Fall semester and rehearsals begin after the Fall Dance Ensemble show. The concert takes place in the early weeks of Spring semester.
