Thursday Afternoon Faculty Seminars (TAFS 2008-2009)

We've got a great slate of faculty presenters on next year's TAFS schedule. Plan ahead - mark the dates on your calendar now, and come every first Thursday of the month to learn about the research your colleagues are doing. What a great opportunity to expand your knowledge beyond the boundaries of your academic discipline! The talk begins at 5:00 PM, but refreshments are available from 4:30 PM, so come early and mingle. New Acquisitions to the Faculty Center Library

The Faculty Center Library continues to grow. A few of the most recent acquisitions to the FCLT Library include Moodle E-Learning Course Development: A complete guide to successful learning using Moodle and Moodle Teaching Techniques: Creative Ways to us Moodle for Constructing Online Learning Solutions; both are available as E-Books on the FCLT MAC computer, but are password protected. The password to access these books is available at the FCLT. You are welcome to stop by the Faculty Center and view these on-line books. . .read more
