July 2 (Wed)-placement exam
July 3 (Thurs)-classes begin
July 5 (Sat)-likely date for trip to Chartres Cathedral
July 6 (Sun)-likely date for trip to Versailles
July 14 (Mon)-Bastille Day, fireworks at Eiffel Tower
July 18-21 (Fri-Mon) trip to Saint Malo
July 27 (Sun)-Tour de France grand finale on the Champs Elysées
July 31(Thurs)-last day of classes; repas d'adieu, tour of Paris on the Seine
August 1 (Wed)-depart Paris, arrive in Minneapolis in the evening
