FEDERATED CHURCH - MORRIS, MN

The Federated Church of Morris was created when the First Congregational Church of Christ and the First Methodist Episcopal Church, both of Morris, MN, consolidated in 1928.  Although "federated," the two churches maintained separate memberships, annual meetings and denominational ties.  Collection contains registers (which contain vital statistics on baptisms, marriages, deaths, communicants, and membership) and minute books of both churches, before and after federation.  Board of trustee records, annual meetings, church council minutes, financial records and correspondence are also among the records.  [3408]
