• Here is a set of sample questions for the Mathematics Placement Test (to be taken by incoming UMM first year students who are planning to enrol in a math course in Fall 2009.) You can download the sample test here.
  
  
• The link to the Maple TA Practice Placement at UMM is here, available to admitted students.
  You will need to login using your UMM username and password. If login fails please email Jane Kill at killjb@morris.umn.edu and ask her to add you to the system.
  Practice questions are meant to be answered WITHOUT the use of a calculator.

  At the 2009 Joint AMS/MAA National Meeting in Washington DC, Charles Rudeen, UMM 2009, presented his poster entitled, Maximum Weight Connected Subgraph Problem, which is part of his undergraduate research project with Peh Ng, professor of mathematics.
