"The UMM Philosophy Club meets regularly Thursdays at 8:00 PM in the Humanities lounge (Humanities 105). A typical meeting consists of discussion and debate about a chosen philosophical subject, essay, book, interview, idea, etc. A short prepared reading or video is often made available beforehand, for familiarization with the topic; it is suggested that you view or read this material in order to get the most out of discussion at meetings, but it is not required. Everyone is encouraged to come, even if they didn't prepare for the discussion, or even if they feel like they might not be able to contribute."
