Tamler Sommers

Tamler Sommers is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Minnesota, Morris. He received his PhD at Duke University in December, 2005. He has published articles in Philosophy and Phenomenological Research (forthcoming), The Philosophical Quarterly, Distributied Cognition and the Will (MIT press), Biology and Philosophy, and Psyche. He is also a regular contributor to the Times Literary Supplement and The Believer . He is currently writing a book on moral responsibility, honor cultures, and the emotions (under contract Princeton UP) and assembling a series of his interviews from The Believer (under contract, BelieverBooks, McSweeney's Publishing Inc.).
