Notes

  • This is only a general guideline, but does take full account of all discipline requirements and prerequisites.
  • Not all of the physics electives will be offered every year. In general, Optics (Physics 3301) will alternate with Statistical Physics (Physics 3501), with one additional elective (Physics 3000, Physics 3001, or Physics 3201) offered every Spring.
  • Full-time students take 12-16 credits per semester; an average load is 16 credits, while the minimum required for full-time status is 12.
  • 120 credits are required for graduation.
  • Students must take at least 60 credits of non-physics general education courses.
  • No more than 48 credits in any one discipline will count toward the 120 credits required for graduation.
  • See the UMM Catalog for further requirements and restrictions.
