Since 1989, three of our seniors have won the Minnesota Psychological Association's Paterson Award. This annual award honors the state's outstanding graduating senior in psychology; other UMM students took honorable mentions. Recently, a research paper by two UMM psychology majors won First Prize for a Psychology paper at the Minnesota Academy of Science's Winchell Symposium.
