The choral and vocal music programs at the University of Minnesota, Morris have occupied a place of prominence on campus and throughout the region since the founding of the university. With over 125 participants, students sing in range of choral ensembles, including Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and University Choir, as well as study voice privately. Performance opportunities include large ensemble concerts, the annual Holiday Soirée, regional, national, and international tours, student recitals, and workshops with visiting artists.
“And then he thought, ‘No...I’ll join the choir. I’ll stand up there shoulder to shoulder with all the others...believe whatever we believe...and sing...’”
