Melissa Carnicle ’12, who won an award at the 2011 American Indians in Science and Engineering Society National Conference, studied the effect of post-wildfire flood prevention. "One of my favorite things about this project is how interdisciplinary it is. I studied the hydrology of the area and also its geology and ecology."
