Studio Art/Print Making

Print Making

The print curriculum provides instruction on a broad variety of techniques for creating reproducible imagery. Printmaking can be selected to fulfill either your major or minor media requirement. Students have access to all the necessary printing equipment including three etching presses, a lithography press, more than a dozen screen printing units, printing inks, and drying racks. In addition the studio maintains lithography stones as well as woodcut and etching tools for students to check out as needed. Students enrolled in printmaking also receive ample storage space to house their paper and matrixes during the course.
