On Thursday evening, November 15, retired Multi-Ethnic Student Program Director, Bill Stewart and his wife Ida were guests of honor at an MSP alumni gathering at W.A. Frost & Company in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Dorothy Nins '85 helped to organize the event and in addressing the group, remarked that she owed much of her success as a student at UMM to Bill Stewart. Dorothy traveled from her home in Connecticut to attend this event.
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Sandy Olson-Loy brought greetings from Chancellor Johnson and gave a campus and MSP update. Other UMM staff attending were Associate Vice Chancellor of External Relations Maddy Maxeiner, Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving Carla Riley, Development Officer Susan Schmidgall, Bonnie Tipcke, Executive Office and Administrative Specialist for the MSP program, and Admissions Counselor and Coordinator for Multi-Ethnic Student Recruitment David Comer, Jr.
Former MSP Director Rickey Hall was also able to join in the festivities.
