Over 50 Morris alumni and friends gathered at Coffman Art Gallery on Thursday, February 21, 2013 for the annual Midwinter. The event was held in conjunction with Associate Professor of Studio Art Michael Eble’s artist reception for his exhibit, Honfleur Reflections.
Networking and special connections occurred throughout the evening. Amber White ’09 will be the curator for an upcoming UMM gallery exhibit, hired by Michael Eble. A 2012 graduate connected with experienced alumni and joined Morris Connect to assist his job search. Also, first year law student, Mike McBride ’11, discussed possible collaborations with staff at the Morris campus while also connecting with experienced alumni attorneys from the group. It was a great evening full of Morris connections!

Having completed his final term as outgoing board president serving on the UMMAA, Dennis Gimmestad '73 received an engraved clock to honor and thank him for his terms of service. Given by the UMMAA and Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving, Carla Riley '85.
