2014 Senior Legacy Project

The 2014 Senior Class Legacy allows the opportunity to give back while moving forward. The Senior Class Legacy is a tradition at Morris, which began in 2007. It provides the opportunity for students and families to add a personalized paver to the Morris Legacy Walk, at a discounted rate of $25 for Seniors offered through commencement, May 10, 2014. The Morris Legacy Walk winds through the beautiful landscaped area behind the Welcome Center. This nostalgic part of campus is seen by students, visitors and alumni often and will be for years to come. Adding a personalized paver to the Morris Legacy Walk is a great way to mark the accomplishments your Morris experience or of a Morris graduate, perhaps as a holiday or commencement gift idea.

The University of Minnesota, Morris Alumni Association (UMMAA) extended an exciting matching gift challenge in 2014! The UMMAA contributed a matching gift, for any donation above $25, to the University of Minnesota, Morris Scholarships Fund. This scholarship will benefit students for years to come, giving some a Morris experience that may otherwise not have been possible.

Congratulations to the Class of 2014—through your generous donations, the UMMAA contributed over $1500 to the Morris Scholarships Fund in matching donations!
