
Defending UMAC football champ Cougars release 2007 schedule

For Immediate Release: May 3, 2007 Morris, MN – The defending Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) football champion University of Minnesota, Morris Cougars have released the schedule for the upcoming 2007 season.
Under first year head coach Todd Hickman, the Cougars will open the 2007 season on the road when they travel to Northfield, Minnesota for a 1:00 game with Carleton College on September 8th.
The home and UMAC opener for Minnesota-Morris is the following weekend, September 15th when UMM will host principia College. The Panthers will be making their first ever trip to Minnesota, Morris in a 12:00 noon kick off at Big Cat Stadium.
Homecoming 2007 will be September 29th when the Cougars battle Northwestern College at 1:00.
Friday, October 26th is when the annual UMAC Dome Day will be held at the Metrodome and the Cougars will then close out the 2007 season at home on November 3rd, when they entertain Waldorf College at 1:00.
Minnesota-Morris finished the 2006 season 7-3 overall and perfect 7-0 in the UMAC in winning their first ever UMACF title.
