For Immediate Release: Morris, MN –The Cougar swimming and diving team hosted Northern State University for their first home dual meet of the season on Friday, November 16th and came away with a 102-65 win at the UMM pool.

The Cougars won 12 of the 13 events in the meet.

Head Coach Dave Molesworth said, “We had some people really start to step up and swim well after a long week of practices. Our biggest swim had to be Hallie Warneke (So. Mark Bork Fr. Cottage Grove, Minn.) was also under ˝ second away from the medley relay record with a faster split than all of last year.

Molesworth added, “I feel that overall our team swam very well and I am excited to see what they can do at our next couple of meets.”

The Cougars travel to Moorhead for the Dragon/Cobber Invitational this Saturday, December 1st.
