W-S/D @ Liberal Arts Championships (Day 2)

Day two of the 2008 Liberal Arts Championships @ Principia College (Elsah, IL)

In the 100 butterfly Hallie Warneke (So. Elk River, MN) broke the school record. In the 200 Freestyle Freshman Mary Bork (Fr. Cottage Grove, MN) broke the school record. Shilo Parisian (Jr. Maple Grove, MN) broke the school record in the 100 backstroke. In a time trial at the end of the prelim session Hallie destroyed the 400 IM record by 6 seconds.

In the final session both 200 Medley relay and 800 Free relay ended up in the top 8. In the 100 back Hallie re-broke the 100 fly record and finished in the top eight. In the 200 free Mary finished in the top eight and Shilo finished in the top 16. In the 100 Back Shilo re-broke the school record and finished in the top 8.

Head Coach Dave Molesworth said, "We are having a great meet and I am excited to see how Saturday will play out because in the past the final day has been the best day for us as we have people set up to do well in events and the team is pumped up that they are swimming so well. We have a great chance to move up in the team standings so we will see how well we can finish this meet an put an exclamation point on the 07-08 season."
