Gustavus tallied one first half goall and added a pair in the second half for a 3-0 win over the University Of Minnesota, Morris in college women’s soccer action in St..Peter, MN Sunday. The Gusties finished the game out shooting UMM 31-3. Cougar goal keeper Emily Jacob (So. Minneapolis, Minn.) had nine saves in the game. Minnesota, Morris, now 0-2 overall and get ready for the annual Cougar Classic at the Cougar Soccer Field Sept. 5-7. On Friday, the 5th the Cougar women will take on Bethel at 2:00 followed by men’s action between UMM and Bethel. Saturday, the 6th at 1:00 Univ. of Dallas women take on Bethel, followed by the Bethel men against Dallas.
