St. Scholastica wasted little time scoring the games first goal as the took a 1-0 lead over Minnesota, Morris scoring just a few minutes into Tuesday's UMAC post-season tournament semi final contest in Duluth. Adding another goal to make it 2-1 early in the second half, CSS maintained that score until the 83.19 mark of the second half as the Cougars would get their only goal of the game to cut the deficit to 2-1, but the Cougars would get no closer as the Saints held on for the win and advance to the post season tournament championship Saturday at 11:30 against Northwestern College in Duluth. Northwestern College defeated Northland 2-1 in the other semi-final contest. Minnesota, Morris finishes the year 8-11-1 and 6-7-1 in the UMAC.
