First annual Cougar Football Fishing event held

For Immediate Release: April 10th, 2008 Morris, MN – Despite cool weather conditions there was a good turn out for the first annual Cougar Football Fishing event held April 5th & 6th in Baudette, Minnesota.

Most boats caught between 40-80 walleyes on Saturday according to Cougar Head Football Coach Todd Hickman.

The biggest walleye was caught by Ben Erholtz at 29 3/4". The Biggest sturgeon was caught by Cameron Vollbrecht at 58 inches.

Coach Hickman would like to thank all those who attended the event and the coaches who helped make the event a success.
