Kendall Proell has announced his intentions to join the University of Minnesota, Morris Cougars men’s basketball team for the 2008-2009 season.
Proell had a stellar high school career for the Silverstreaks of Osakis where he ran the point for a state tournament team his senior season. He currently holds the Minnesota State Tournament record for assists in a single game (15) and three game total assists (28).
For the past two seasons he has played at North Dakota State College of Science. He helped the Wildcats to a 25-6 record this past season as a combo guard.
“Kendall is exactly what our team needs right now. He is an experience play maker and a very smart point guard. He is a winner and a versatile guard and a great addition to our team” said Paul Grove, head coach of the Cougars.
