Luther College defeated the Cougars 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 25-16) in the first game of the UW-Stout tournament for UMM.

Allison Pippo (Sr. Annandale, Minn) had a team high 10 kills for the Cougars. Sam Pfannenstein (So. Rockville, Minn) had 14 assists and Briana Czer (Sr. New Ulm, Minn)added 10 digs.
