In the Cougars second game of the UW-Stout tournament, Minnesota, Morris won the fifth and deciding game 15-9 to defeat the host Blue Devils 3-2. Set scores were (25-23, 12-25, 25-23, 16-25, 15-9). Allison Pippo (Sr. Annandale, Minn.) and Briana Czer (Sr. New Ulm, Minn.) led the Cougar offense attack in the win. Pippo had a season high 12 kills, Czer added 10, a season best in a five set match. Sam Pfannenstein (So. Rockville, Minn) had a season high 27 assists and Natalie Thomas (Fr. Champlin, Minn) chipped in with 10 assists. Tanya Marthaler (Fr. Osakis, Minn.) had a season high 21 digs and Colleen Hermes (So. White Bear Lake, Minn) added 17 for Minnesota-Morris (3-2).
