Cougars tabed No. 3 in UMAC football coaches preseason coaches poll

For immediate release: August 25h, 2008 - St. Paul, MN - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC)has released the 2008 football coaches poll. To really no ones surprise, defending champ, Northwestern College was a unanimous pick for the top spot earning a conference-best 16 points in the preseason coaches poll. The Eagles claimed their 11th outright Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) championship in 2007. Martin Luther College picked up 12 points, to earn the no. two spot, while the Cougars tallied 10 points and third place. Minnesota-Morris will open the 2008 season at home on Saturday, September 6th at 7:00 p.m. against Trinity Bible College. For a look at the complete UMAC releases, click here
