The Bethel woman's basketball team outscored Minnesota, Morris 8-2 in the final two minutes of the second half Tuesday and turned at two point 69-66 lead into a 77-68 win in St. Paul. Bethel University led by just one at halftime at 37-36. The top three scorers for the Cougar women so far this season, led the way again for UMM Nikki Washek (Jr. Underwood, Minn.) led the way with 16, Tynell Kocer (Sr. Pierre, S.D.) 13 and Steph Roggenbuck (So. Osakis, Minn.) chipped in with 10. Kocer is now 13 points away from 1,000 points. UMM travels to Mayville State for a 2:00 game Saturday and the Monday are in Valley City, N.D. for non-conference action.
