The University of Minnesota, Morris women's basket ball team wrapped up a five game road trip in style with a 77-72 win at Martin Luther College Saturday night.

It was the second straight win for the Cougars as they upped their record to 2-0 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action this season and 3-5 over-all.

It was also their third win in the last four outings for UMM.

The Cougars led 33-25 at halftime on the way to the five point win.

Steph Roggenbuck (So. Osakis, Minn.) led the way with her first double-double in a Cougar uniform with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

After a 30 point effort last night, Nikki Washek (Jr. Underwood, Minn.) had 21 points for the Cougars to give her 51 in the two games over the weekend.

Tynell Kocer (Sr. Pierrie, S.D.) added 11 for the Cougars.

UMM out shot Martin Luther College in he game 42 percent (25-60) compared to 31 percent for MLC (24-77).

The Cougars are home for just the second time this season on Friday, December 12th when they host North Central at 5:30 at the P.E. Center.
