The Cougars had a rough game trying to contain the Eagles in the Semifinal round of the UMAC Tournament. After the first half the Cougars found themselves facing just a seven point deficit, but the second half was not very friendly to the ladies as the Eagles who seemed to have the hot hand opened up a 19 point lead with about 10:30 left in the game, and the Cougars just could not seem to get the lead under 14 points as time ran out sending the Eagles to the Championship game and ending the Cougars season. Coresa Leighty(Sr. New Ulm, Minn.)lead the team just missing a double-double ending up with 21 points and 9 rebounds. The only other Cougar in double digits was Jenni Noordmans (Fr. Hancock, Minn.)with 10 points. The Eagles out shot the Cougars hitting 50% of their shots from the floor to 36% for the Cougars.
