The Cougar Men's game was a tale of two halves and each of those halves being completely different. The Cougars struggled to do much in the first half only scoring 22 points of which Dan Fragodt (So. Benson, Minn.) scoring 12 of. Mitch Primus (Fr. Swanville, Minn.) had 4 blocked shots, but those were pretty much the highlights from the first half. In the second half the Cougars set to climbing out of the hole they found themselves in going into half time and seemed to be clicking along but they just did not have enough time to catch up in the end. At one point in the second half the Saints opened up a 28 point lead with just under 10 minutes remaining but the Cougars clawed their way back into the game and made up 20 of those points but lost by eight in the end. Dan Fragodt ended the game with 28 points and seven rebounds to lead the team in both categories. Jeremy Bosch (Jr. Salol, Minn.) added by scoring 10 points and four rebounds, while Mitch Primus ended the game with nine points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots.
