Diggs named UMAC men's soccer offensive POW

University of Minnesota, Morris junior Brent Diggs (Champiln, Minn) has been named this weeks' Upper Midwest athletic Conference (UMAC) men's soccer offensive player of the week. Diggs helped the Cougars to to three wins last week as UMM upped their overall record to 7-1 and 2-0 in conference play. In the 3-0 win over St. john's, Diggs had one goal and a game winning assist. versus Bethany in the UMAC conference opener Friday, Diggs tallied two goals and another game winning assist. Then on Saturday in the 2-1 victory over martin Luther, Diggs had one goal. He now has a team leading seven goals and four assists for 18 points on the season.
