Swimming & Diving practice underway

University of Minnesota, Morris women's swimming and diving coach Dave Molesworth welcomed 19 athletes to the first practice of the 2008-09 season earlier this week. The Cougars return five athletes from last year's team that had a strong finish to the 2007-08 season at the Liberal Arts Championships with a seventh place finish. There are fourteen new faces on the Cougar roster this season, which has Molesworth looking forward to the upcoming campaign. Molesworth said. "With the returning athletes from last year added to some very talented newcomers, we look to continue to make progress in 2008-2009." UMM will host the Minnesota, Morris relay meet on Saturday, November 1 to open the new season. In fact four of their first five meets will be at home this season.
