Simpson UMAC men's soccer Player of the Week

University of Minnesota, Morris sophomore goal keeper Tyler Simpson has been named tis week's Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Player of the Week. Simpson (Broomfield, Colo.) led the Cougars to a pair of UMAC shut out road wins last week, 2-0 at Northwestern Friday and a 1-0 overtime win Saturday at Crown. He tallied five saves in the two games for UMM. He now is 6-1 on the year with four of the six victories shut out wins. Minnesota, Morris has now won seven in a row and is now 9-1 overall as they travel to Duluth Saturday to take on St. Scholastica and Ashland, Wisconsin, Sunday to meet Northland College in UMAC conference action.
