
Freshman running back Robert Koranda (Becker, Minn) established a pair of career records in the Cougars loss to Crown on October 11 and those numbers helped him earn this weeks Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) offensive player of the week.
He carried the ball 40 times for 239 yards, both career highs in the game. Not to mention he had 357 yards in total offense. As a team UMM had 427 for the game.
Koranda now has 708 yards rushing on 151 carries in five games and 1008 yards in total offense so far this season.
He is averaging 141.6 yards per game on the ground and is on pace with five games reaming to well over the 1,000 yard mark.
