Diggs named UMAC mem's soccer POW

Tallying five goals and one assist and helping the Cougar men's soccer team to a pair big conference home wins, junior Brent Diggs (Champlin, Minn has earned the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference UMAC) offensive player of the week for the week of October 15-21. In a 6-0 win over Crown College on Friday October 10th at the Cougar Soccer Field, Brent scored twice in a span of just over four minutes in the first half. He added his third late in the second half to pick up the hat trick. Then on Saturday, Brent had two goals and one assist in the Cougars 5-0 win over Northwestern. So far this season, Diggs has at least one goal in eight of the 14 games, and at least one point in 10 of the 14. On the year, Brent now has 12 goals, six assists and 30 points, all career highs so far as UMM has six games remaining. UMAC release.
